Through a friend, I was given an opportunity to design concepts for a backyard project, for a "very well to do" client, on a scale would resemble a theme park. The theme they wanted was "if Indiana Jones had discovered a Mayan civilization that was invaded by pirates...". Cool, eh?
This is a nice idea. I'd love to see this made in real life. I'm sure it would work well as a tourist destination or even as a real house with a family living in it.
I've been an animator for 20 years of which 15 of them I've worked off and on for Disney starting with 'The Lion King' (Timon), 'Pocahontas' (Wiggins, Percy & Ratcliffe) and as a Supervising Animator on 'Hercules' (Pain), 'The Emperor's New Groove' (Pacha & Tipo), 'Home On The Range' (farm animals) and finally on the character 'Dr. Facilier' (the villain) in 'The Princess and the Frog'.
Currently, I am now part of their newly formed "Creative R & D" dept. and I'm also teaching animation at CalArts twice a week.
